6/5/18 - Saporito is a long and lean 6-foot-2 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 7.45 60, a 4.72 home to first and has an 84 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, little hand hand load, quick tempo leg lift with in line stride, mostly middle to pull side contact during hitting evals, level swing plane with slight lift to finish.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.20 and 2.33-seconds, 68 mph positional velocity, over the top arm slot, long arm circle, quick footwork creates momentum to throw, somewhat accurate throws with carry to the bag. On the mound, Saporito has a smooth leg lift, picks up tempo after leg lift, throws with some effort at release, works in line and keeps shoulders flat down the mound, high three quarters arm slot, fastball at 71-74 mph, 11-to-5 breaking ball, gradual and early action, will throw for strikes.
10/22/17 - Saporito is an athletically built 6-foot-2 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 7.62 60 and a 4.93 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 77 mph. At the plate, balanced stance, quick load in lower half and hands, short in line stride, short to contact, middle to pull side contact, swing works to the top of the ball.  Behind the plate, 2.25-2.51-second pop times, 65 mph positional velo, over the top release, throws with momentum through the catch, clean transfer with fluid footwork. On the mound, Saporito has an athletic build, long limbs, over the top release, throws slightly across body, fastball at 70-72 mph, works mostly arm side, throws change up with near fastball arm speed, 63-64 mph, some with arm side release.
