Body: 6-foot, 190-pound physically impressive frame with some current strength.

Hit: RHH.   At the plate starts with a slightly open stance and wide base with a crouched posture.  Hands get set at shoulder height with a relaxed back elbow and slight arm bar with the front arm.  Quick waggle rhythm with the hands working in sync with a traditional early stride.  Stays centered throughout the swing with the weight and has quick hands through the zone.  Has current strength at contact and shows future power potential.

Power: 91 mph exit velocity off the tee and 88 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  C-78 mph.  OF-89 mph.  Behind the plate has a quick arm action with hand tight to the mask.  In the outfield has an over the top arm slot with a shorter arm action and good hand speed.

Defense: Behind the plate showcases a knee in the dirt receiving stylet with strong wrists.  Blocks with an upright posture and slightly stiff hips.  Very quick transfers out of the glove to accommodate strong arm with pop times ranging between 1.88-1.94.  In the outfield attacks the ball with short steps and solid body control.  Fields the ball on the outside of the glove side leg with a developing feel for glove action and soft hands.

Run: 4.81 runner to first base.


Positional Profile: C/OF/RHP

Body: 6-foot, 190-pound physical frame with present strength.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a neutral stance and narrow base with an upright posture.  Strong weight stack into the back leg and utilizes a knee knock stride into a wider base.  Slight coil with the hips as the hands get loaded.  Whippy barrel action with quick hands through the zone and good overall bat speed.  Shows some current strength at contact with the hands.  Slight uphill bat path and tries to work the ball up in the air.  

Power: 95 mph exit velocity off the tee and 96 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  OF-85 mph.  C-75 mph.  Pop Times: 1.94-2.06.  In the outfield shows an over the top arm slot with a clean arm action and strong pull down.  Behind the plate throws from a high ¾ arm slot with short/clean arm action.

Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with controlled rhythm and shorter strides.  Fields the ball out in front of the body with developing glove action and a firm glove.  Shuffle crow hop technique with strong push off the back leg and momentum headed towards the target.  Behind the plate shows clean and quick exchanges out of the glove on throws to second with good carry and accuracy.  Receives the ball one knee in the dirt and a feel for pitch framing with strong wrists.  Shows adequate blocking technique with good posture in the upper body.  

Run: 6.97 runner in the 60.

Delivery: On the mound uses rocker style technique footwork around the rubber working to a mid height balance point.  Hands work over the head in the delivery with a repeatable smooth rhythm.  Slight coil in the body at the top of the delivery.  Works from the first base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound into a firm plant leg.  Maintains balance and athleticism throughout the delivery.

Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot with shorter arm action.

FB: 78-84 mph, mostly straight action with solid spin and riding life through the zone.

SL: 73-74 mph, shorter cutting action with 9/3 shape.

CB: 67-70 mph, bigger shape with some late depth and downward action.


Demonstrated a physically advanced 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame. The right-handed hitter begins with a loose, even stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate his swing. The barrel enters the hitting zone through a slightly uphill barrel path while hitting into a stiff front side with late give. Showcased some barrel whip evidenced by an 81 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. The primary backstop featured adequate receiving skills with some stiffness at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.25-2.40 on accurate throws of 73 mph from the crouch. Displayed average blocking ability with soft walls to both sides of the plate. The outfielder showed fluid, athletic actions arriving to the ball on time allowing for a quick and fluid, high ¾ arm-slot to whip towards the target generating an 82 mph arm-strength from his position.
