Another week of action and we see a ton of movement as multiple Power 25 teams took the field against each other in the last 7 days.  Multiple programs made loud statements with their play throughout the week and we had multiple matchups of top programs beating up on each other.  We get one new team to the Top 10 and three programs make their debut on the Power 25.  This ranking is based on multiple factors with the entire season's resume taken into account.  District game wins, Power 25 wins, strength of schedule, and strength of record are the determining factors when putting together the ranking and not just who we think is best.

Bixby remains at the top spot even after dropping a game to number 2 Choctaw as they have already split their two matchups this spring.  The Spartans still have the strongest resume with thanks to their strength of schedule and strength of record and are going to get more pieces on the mound back in the near future.  Choctaw bolts up from number 9 to number 2 on the list after a deciding win against Bixby in the Choctaw Tournament as well as taking down a surging Yukon team.

The most amount of time spent in putting together this week's Power 25 was in the 5,6,7 spots with Elk City, Elgin, and Tuttle.  They have all played each other and split contests with each team having a ton of talent.  In the end, we felt at the moment that Elk City currently has the better resume of the bunch giving them the number 5 spot.  Elgin's only loss on the season comes at the hands of Elk City this past Friday and had a walk-off victory of Tuttle on Thursday.  Tuttle still might have one of the more talented rosters in the state and have a strong resume, but fall to number 7 after picking up their only two losses on the year to Elk City and Elgin.

Yukon sees a rise to number 10 in this update as the offense starts to come to life and taking down number 3 Edmond Memorial this past weekend.  Stillwater starts to see their stock rise after getting off to a rocky 4-4 start to winning their past 6 games with one of the better offenses in the state.  Piedmont makes their debut on the Power 25 this season after picking up a split against Enid and giving Edmond North their second loss of the season.  Newcastle is another newcomer to the list coming in at number 24 after with their strong resume and 6-0 victory over an emerging Chickasha team.  Dewar is the final newcomer to the list after amassing a 16-0 start thanks to a talented roster in Class A.  While the strength of schedule for Dewar isn't the toughest so far this season, it's their absolute dominance by averaging outscoring their opponents by more than 7 runs that gives them the nod for the final spot in the rankings.

There are still plenty of programs that are putting together strong seasons that land in our On Deck category.  While the records amassed have been impressive, a lot of the programs will begin to see their strength of schedule improve and have the opportunity to win games and play their way onto the list.
