Positional Profile: SS/2B A top uncommitted infielder in the state's '24 class
Body: 5-9, 165-pounds. Athletic
Hits: RHH. Slightly wider and balanced set-up, rhythm in hands, uses a quick toe-tap load and stride Cocks front hip during toe-tap and turns tight to contact with an on-plane path and slightly uphill extension with a one-handed finish, rotates lower-half aggressively to create bat speed and present power to the pull-side
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 80 MPH. 361' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph.Short and quick with a 3/4 release
Defense: Improved look on the infield, starts low and works ground up, receives the ball into a funnel with soft hands and athletic actions, moved well laterally and showed a quick release, cut angle on ball up the middle to get rid of it quickly, looked good on bounder play as well
Run: 7.06 runner in the 60.

Hit: RHH. Balanced and athletic stance, uses a toe-tap load and stride Rotational type of hitter, stays connected to contact and gets on plane with each pitch. Has some present pull-side power.

Compact and durable 5'10" 170 lbs. frame with a physical lower half. Guidry came to our SWLA Preseason ID, on 01/15/22, and was in attendance this past Sunday as well at LSU-Alexandria. Quality receiver and blocker behind the dish. Worked to block every ball, was very vocal, and took command. Turned in a solid BP round as well, working mostly up the middle and to the opposite field with a simple approach, direct path, and level extension.
