5-foot-6, 140-pound right-handed hitting infielder/outfielder. Threw 73 mph from the outfield. The feet were quick, soft and got into a good fielding position in line with the throwing target. The transition from glove to hand was good. The arm swing was from a low short slot and was able to get good extension in line with the target. From the infield, he threw 66 mph across the diamond The feet are active and under control. He gets into a good fielding position with both the feet and the glove. Transitions well through the ball and stays through his throw, in line with the target. At the plate, the tee exit velocity was 74 mph. The stance is slightly open with the weight on the back leg. The hands begin high and drop slightly as the swing begins. The load is a short pick up of the foot and the weight remains on the backside. The bat path is a simple flat stroke to contact and stays through the ball. I like the skill set for this young player. As he physically continues to develop, the tools are there to be a really good player.
