Mid-Atlantic Challenge 11/4/18
Athletic frame with room for more at 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Hits from a balanced setup at the plate with knees in. Rock back load with involved leg kick like a double tap without the tap. Showed nice balance throughout swing in bp rounds. has a short swing at the plate and hands worked well. Level path with nice bat speed through contact. Exit velocity was a personal best at 82 mph. Clean hands and transfer in the field with short arm action. Position velo again was a best at 76 mph.
MD Eastern Shore Showcase 10.21.18
Athletic body type and 5-foot-10, 155 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, open stance at the plate. Shorter smooth back load with rhythm and balance. Showed quick hands, fast bat speed, and strong lower half involvement in the swing. Compact, short, level swing path with an exit velo of 78 mph. Stays behind the ball well with good extension through contact. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with some pop. Athletic and moves very well in the infield. Plays with active feet and showed smooth fielding actions and soft hands. Plays low and gets in a good balanced set-up working through the ball with rhythm. Funnels ball to belt with quick, clean exchanges. Throws with short arm action from a low three-quarters slot at 74 mph. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash.
2.21.16 - Athletic projectable frame at 5-foot-10, 145-pounds. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Hits from a balanced set up. Has quick hands and level bat path through contact. Gets on back foot slightly on finish. Exit velocity of 76 mph. Sound footwork from the infield. Clean exchange, throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Infield velocity of 69 mph. Would like fett to get more active. Very interesting skill set for young prospect in the 2019 class.
