8/12/20

6-foot-1, 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher. The skill set is advanced and the frame is physical. This was the first time we saw Nic workout and he has a chance to be a special player. He ran a 7.09 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is solid, the feet work during the transfer and he has plenty of arm. He threw 78 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.9. The receiving is solid and he needs to continue to work on securing the catch. The bat has an exit velocity of 98 mph. The setup is wide in base and he uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half. The path is uphill to contact and the hands are ultra quick. He is big and strong, with fast hands. He is a high level prospect.

Exit Velocity- 98 mph

Catching Velocity- 78 mph

Pop Time -1.9
