Started in an active narrow stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a short stride. Has average efficient bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Created some loud contact and found a few barrels. Raw while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 83 mph; showed hard developing hands, a lengthy packing exchange, and choppy developing feet. Fields the ball deep, movements laterally were average. Athletic capable on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle with a quick compact arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays even shoulders and an athletic tall balance point. Lands open with recoil upright finish. (Max spin 1818; Avg 1769).
