7/10/18 - Missouri State commit. 6-foot-2, 180-pound, athletically-built, well-proportioned, left-handed pitcher. Struck out two in his one-inning of work. Athletic delivery, works with rhythm, minimal wasted movement, repeats. Short, compact, clean arm action; loose and quick following foot strike out of a high ¾ slot. Projects as a possible starter at the next level; features three above-average offerings, all out of the same tunnel and with fastball arm speed. Commands the fastball, late running action, sat 85-86 mph, touched 87. Curveball, advanced feel, sharp action, 12/6 shape, depth, 74-76 mph. Changeup, feel, arm-side-run, sinking action, swing-and-miss offering, sat 81-83 mph. Highly-pitchability left-hander.
8/4/16 - Schroeder committed to Missouri State shortly after the event.  He touched 85 with his fastball, working comfortably at 83-85 mph.  He has a sharp and late breaking curveball at 75-76 mph.  Schroeder comes from a high three-quarters arm slot and throws with regular effort.  He is 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with a quick arm and a projectable build. Gathers himself and repeats well.  Mixed up his pitches well.

6/14/16 - Schroeder is a 6-foot-2 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class, Missouri State commit.  He ran a 7.41 60 and a 4.87 home-to-first.  He has an 83 mph exit velo. At the plate, slightly open stance, smooth and controlled load, accelerated and aggressive swing, level bat path, middle of the field contact during batting practice, singled to left field in game action.  In the outfield, short high-three quarters arm slot, moves well to the ball, plays through the catch, throws have carry, mostly accurate, 83 mph positional velo, one of the top outfield velos of the event. On the mound, Schroeder throws with some effort, aggressive down the mound, over the top release, ability to work the whole zone, strike thrower, repeats delivery, fastball 81-83 mph, some late run, breaking has 2-t-8 shape with late and sharp break, wipe-out slider, attacks the zone and challenges hitters, finished his outing with five strikeout and two walks.
