Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 5-11, 150-pounds. Lean and developing build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. Starts with a slightly open stance and upright posture with hands getting set at shoulder height. Strong weight stack onto the back leg with a leg lift stride. kicks foot out into a wider base and slightly open. Lower half works linearly through the zone into a firm front leg. Slight lean back in posture at contact. Rotational path with the hands and a strong top hand finish. Attacks the ball out in front of the plate with a line drive approach and level bat path.
Power: 84.2 max exit velocity, averaged 79.1 mph. 239’ max distance.
Arm: LH. INF - 75 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with a short and clean arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with lateral footwork and prefers to let the ball come to him. Fields the ball slightly deep into the body with developing glove action and firm glove. Shows proper footwork around the bag.
Run: 7.79 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Works to a high balance point with a slight coil of the front hip and shoulder. Strong weight stack onto the back leg with a good push off the rubber. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good momentum and direction towards the plate. Glove tap exchange out of the glove early and at the top of the delivery.
