Ryan Ulm: C/1B, (2022) Fort Zumwalt West, MO. 6-foot-3, 205-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Began in a crouched stance with a high load, then used a quick stride to initiate his swing. Has above average bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Produced some loud contact and found a few barrels. Pull side approach. While catching, he had a pop time of 2.15-2.32, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 66 mph. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 72 mph; showed quick feet, sure hands and a fluid exchange. Had an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action. Recorded a time of 7.9 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showed good arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. Uses some effort in his delivery. Balance is tall point with even shoulders in his delivery. Lands square. Sat with his fastball at 70-75 mph. He has gradual action on his curveball (65-65). He had some action on his changeup (65-65).

At the plate, smooth load with hands, closed off stride, big swing, high finish with his hands, produced hard contact and looks to lift the baseball during batting practice.
