8.11.18- Nebraska Underclass

5-foot-6, 130 pound catcher ran a 7.11 60 yard sprint. Open tall stance, short stride, hand wiggle, slightly uphill barrel path. Pull side fly ball contact. Posted an 71 mph exit velocity off a tee. Behind the plate threw to 2nd in the 2.38-2.62 range. Square stance, deep receiver, lunges to block, extra hop in release.

5-foot-6, 130 pound two way player ran a 7.40 60 yard sprint. On the mound topped out at 66 mph with his fastball. Mid ¾ arm slot with flat action on fastball. Arm had tendency to slow on change up, left to his arm side. Little feel for breaking ball in the zone at this time. Open tall stance, short stride, hand wiggle, slightly uphill barrel path, all fields approach. Avg. contact during round of BP. Behind the plate threw to 2nd in the 2.59-2.82 range. Tall stance, works through the ball. Average actions in the both the infield and outfield, shows athleticism at times.
