Sporadic contact during round of BP. Posted an 97 mph exit velocity off a tee. Projects to 1st base at this time with current arm strength. Went 0-3 during the game portion of the event.
8/13/17- 6-foot-3, 220 pound first baseman posted the topped exit velocity in the event at 93 mph. Ran a 7.51 60 yard sprint. Slightly open tall stance, uphill barrel path, hard line drive contact to middle and pull side. Projects to 1st base at this time with current arm strength.
5/21/17- 6-foot-3, 215 pound first baseman ran a 7.66 60 yard sprint. Posted an exit velocity of 90 mph off a tee and threw 71 mph across the infield and 70 from the outfield. Slightly open stance, uphill swing plane, line drive/gap power potential. Projects to 1st base at this time with current arm strength.
2/20/17- 6-foot-3, 214-pound first baseman ran a 5.34 40 yard sprint. Tall physical build. At the plate, slightly open square stance, low effort uphill swing plane, pull side approach. Average line drive, fly ball contact during round of BP. Posted an exit velocity of 91 mph off a tee. Playable actions in the field, plays the ball out front, high ¾ arm action. Avg. actions in the outfield, plays hops well, clean transfers, topped out at 68 mph to the catcher.
8/13/16- 6-foot-3, 190-pound left-handed first baseman that participated in both Central Nebraska Prospect ID and the PBR Border Battle. His top 60 time between both events was 7.41. Tall lean frame with room for growth. At the plate, square stance, short stride triggers a short compact swing on an uphill swing plane. Posted an exit velocity of 85 mph off a tee. In the outfield, has average actions with a long release from a high ¾ arm slot. Threw accurately to home at 70 mph. In the infield, plays the ball out front and works his body through his throws. Topped out at 67 mph across the infield.
