5-foot-7, 140lb wiry frame; 7.61 runner in the 60 yard dash. At the plate, Rakotz starts with even weight on either leg and high hands with the barrel wrapped around his head. Loads with a small front foot hover and slams the front foot down to initiate the swing. Pushes his back side through the swing to stay on the pitch easily. Lasered line drives to all parts of the field with good awareness of the barrel, registered an 81 MPH max exit velo. In the infield, Rakotz moves on light feet to the ball with choppy steps that allow him to stay under himself. Fields with a clean glove and transfers fairly quickly. Throws from a 3/4 slot with above average arm speed, posted a 79 MPH infield arm strength.
