TJ Hunt is a product of Wyckoff, New Jersey and Ramapo High School, where he excelled in baseball. During his high school career, Hunt earned many accolades, including 1st team All-League, All-Conference, All-County, and All-State. He was also named a finalist for North Jersey Player of the Year. Upon completion of his high school career, Hunt continued his playing career as a scholar-athlete at Division I, Monmouth University. He earned multiple Conference Pitcher of the Week honors, and was named 2nd Team All-Conference as a senior. Hunt is in the top 10 in career wins and career complete games at Monmouth. As a senior, Hunt threw a No-Hitter and was awarded the ESPN Capital One Impact Performance player of the week as well as Louisville Slugger National Player of the week. Hunt’s No-Hitter was the second in Monmouth Baseball history, and the first since current Baltimore Oriole Brad Brach in 2007. After college, Hunt signed a contract to play professionally for the Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League.

Brian Gelalia
Assistant Scouting Director, New Jersey
Brian Gelalia is a byproduct of Northern Valley at Old Tappan High School, a perennial baseball powerhouse in North Jersey.  During his time at NV Old Tappan, he garnered All-League and All-County accolades.  Later Brian would continue his playing career at William Paterson University where he earned All-Conference honors as an outfielder. Gelalia has been a high school baseball coach since 2007, when he returned to his alma mater Old Tappan and coached the likes of major leaguer Rob Segedin (LA Dodgers). In 2008, Brian was an assistant coach for the Group III State Champions as well as an assistant for the 2009 North 1 Group 3 Sectional Champions.   After his years as an assistant coach he took over a starving program at Wayne Hills High School (Passaic County).  In his two years at the helm, he had a record of 37-19.  In his tenure he sent 9 players to college including five to Division I programs.  In 2016, his team won their League Title as well as the school’s third Passaic County Championship.  He also coached three All-State Group III players as well as one All-MSG Varsity Tri-State Player.  In the same year, he achieved the Big North Independence  Coach of the Year as well as the Passaic County Coach of the Year. Gelalia is now an assistant coach at perennial national power, Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J.
