Lean and athletic build at 5-foot-9. 155-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds with a top exit velo of 87 MPH. Offensively, starts in wide and open stance. Utilizes a toe tap in his stride. Starts with his hands away from his body, they move back and up during his load. Creates pre pitch rhythm. Some natural lift to his swing. Gap-to-gap power. Extends his hands and makes contact out front. Defensively, recorded a top velo of 71 MPH and pop times ranging from 2.11-2.24 seconds. Quick transfer, away from his body. Feet stay in line with his target. On the mound, Torres starts on the first base side of the rubber. Hands start high and stay there throughout his delivery. Slow start to his windup but maintains rhythm. Uphill shoulder tilt. Lands slightly open at foot strike. Gets over his frontside. Long arm action and a high 3/4 arm slot. FB was around the zone at 76-77 MPH, touching 78 MPH. CB was tight at times with 1/7 shape at 65-67 MPH. CH had some fade at 73-74 MPH.
