7/16/15 – Tait is a 6-foot, 190 pound third baseman from an excellent St. Peter’s Prep program. He plays his summer ball with the highly regarded NJ 9ers and has received a good amount of exposure. He ran a 7.81 in the 60-yard dash and showed some instincts defensively. He showed solid approach steps to ground balls and had fluid footwork. He showed athleticism bare handing the slow roller. He threw 78 MPH across the diamond. In the box, Tait has a big weight transfer with his load and showed a level swing plane. When his front foot got down in time, he showed the ability to hit the ball with pop to his pull side. He had some strength in his swing that is translatable.
