Hands begin at shoulder height away from the body. Pre-pitch rhythm. Hands go down and back during his load. Small leg kick. Quiet, simple movements at the plate. Easy load with athletic hands. Drops his barrel onto the baseball, creates line drives to all fields. Defensively, took reps behind the plate and recorded a velo of 65 MPH. Made his transfer of the baseball wherever he received it. Feet are open when throwing to bases. Short, compact arm action. Pop times ranged from 2.27-2.33 seconds. On the mound, starts with his feet narrow in a tall position. Arm action on the mound is long and lean, with release point at a 3/4 slot. Engages his backside early and efficiently. Soft on his bracing leg. Intent on all of his pitches. Is significantly closed when throwing from the stretch. Fastball sat 71-73 MPH and touched 74 MPH. Curveball was a big breaker with 11/5 shape in the zone at 61-63 MPH. Changeup showed both run and fade at 65-67 MPH.
