Positional ProfileInstincts and speed should keep him in CF. Well above average athleticism that shines throughout his game. Should stay at the premium position at the next level. Recent strength added to his frame has translated into a power surge at the plate over the past few months. Carries a quiet confidence throughout his game.
Body5-foot-10, 170 pounds. Athletic build with present strength. Recent physicality added to his frame. Quick twitch that his uses to amplify each part of his game.
Defense: Could make an argument for him as the top outfielder in the state. Excellent instincts at a premium position. Uses his speed to make difficult plays look routine.
Arm: LH. 83 mph. Quick, short arm action. Over the top arm slot. Pulls down to get good carry. Accurate on each of his throws.
Hit: LHH. Starts in a slightly wide stance with hands head high. Slow sink into his back side load with his hands dripping to just above his shoulder height. Small, simple stride that gets down on time allowing him to consistently find the barrel. Bat stays level through the zone with a shoulder high one handed finish. Uses his legs well in his swing to generate power which has seen significant progress in the past six months.
Power: 101 Exit Velocity via TrackMan. Gap to gap present power.
Run: 6.59 Laser Timed 60. Speed amplifies every part of his game. Always a threat on the base paths.

11/10/19

UNLV commit, 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame, tapered, athletic build, added 10 pounds since the State Games in August. An extremely athletic prospect uses his speed and quickness to enhance every part of his game. Defensively, his elite athleticism shines, above average first step, aggressively routes to cut ball off. Short, quick arm cycle from the left side, high ¾ slot with carry, accuracy; 81 mph OF velo. At the plate, starts with narrow, open stance, a high, slow hand rhythm, efficient path to the ball with advanced barrel awareness, sprays the ball to all fields, remains balanced throughout swing, flashes of power to the pull side; 88 mph exit velo.

10/18 - 5-foot-8, 150, Panaro has a small frame and relies heavily on his speed and quickness. He plays fearlessly in the outfield routinely diving to take base hits away.  He chases balls down in the alley utilizing good routes.  A leadoff type guy with an aggressive swing and solid bat plane, contact results in line drives to all fields. He is an aggressive baserunner who seem to find himself right in the middle of the run production

2/10/19 -Stocky, 5-foot-8, 155, Panaro has a compact frame with present strength. Panaro’s work ethic is noted in his size and strength gains since the Fall.  He is a twitchy hard-nosed player who gives everything he has to the task at hand. His 6.63 60-yard time eludes to his closing speed and his ability to take hits away from opposing hitters.  Panaro stays in solid rhythm with his feet and transition to throw. He throws out of a high ¾ slot with arm speed and developing arm strength.  In the box, he stands open and strikes closed with a short quick swing and high finish.  He maintains a mostly middle to pull side approach and his short quick bat can produce a bit a sneaky power. He profiles as a top of the order bat, playing a premium position as a centerfielder.
