Brian is a 5’10” 160 lb 3B/RHP that ran a 4.48 home-to-first. Offensively: He bats with a slightly open stance in a slight crouch with his back elbow up. He employs a big leg kick and gets into good hitting position. He has good bat speed and also generated power from his lower half as well, finishes with both hands on the bat. Defensively: Very sure hands and good athleticism but took an extra step in order to get into throwing position, could save time by eliminating that. Very solid on turning the 5-4-3 DP. Pitching: Very controlled mechanics, high leg kick, good drive from back side. He is going to cause many uncomfortable at bats with his low ¾ arm slot, works in the 77-78 MPH range with his fastball, worked down in the zone.
