Physical: 5-foot-9, 135-pounds. Lean athletic frame. 7.79 runner in the 60; 4.71 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Tall stance keeps bat high, chokes up slightly on the bat, small leg kick Level/ smooth swing the whole way through the zone, finishes with both hands-on bat, consistent contact on the ball. Contact hitter with smooth swing. 76 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Consistent footwork, smooth hands when fielding, keeps eye on the ball, keeps ball in front when fielding. Long, high 3/4 release. OF - 78 MPH.
Pitching: Repeatable delivery with a leg lift above the waist, slight hesitation before striding out in line to an easy effort release and follow through. Moderate arm swing going straight back before getting to a clean 3/4 release. FB: T75, 72-75 MPH. Struggled with command on this day; downhill plane when in the zone. CB: 63-65 MPH. Sharp slurve action commanded on the glove side for strikes. CH: 66-68 MPH. Maintains hand speed with fade.
Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a slight open stance. Works with a short load and stride towards the pitcher before attacking the hitting zone. Flat bat path through the hitting zone and through contact. The right handed hitter stays balanced throughout the swing. Defensively- the outfielder displayed active footwork during the defensive portion. Aggressive approach to the baseball with smooth funnel actions. Displayed a strong arm on throws to the plate. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery. Low effort throwing mechanics. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot. The RHP had command of three pitches. FB peaked at 78, CB has late sharp action at 63-65 MPH. Showed feel for a CH with late fade at 72-74 MPH.
