ENY Senior Day (10/20/18)
Brady is a lean 6-foot-1 150- pound RHP/SS with room for physical gains. Offensively- Brady has an upright stance with some movement of the hands and a double toe tap before making contact. He has a short compact swing that showed pull side pop during batting practice. Defensively- Brady moves well laterally, has a wide base when fielding, and has a long release but accurate arm across the diamond at 82 MPH. Pitching- Has solid, balanced mechanics with a cross-fire arm action. Brady will tend to fall glove side after delivering the pitch; showed plus command with his FB at 75-76 while topping at 78 MPH. He flashed a 63-64 CB and a solid CH with some arm side run at 71-72 MPH. Brady showed command and feel for all three pitches. Overall athleticism projects well on the mound.
ENY ASG (September 15, 2018)
Lean, projectable pitching frame at 6-foot-1, 150-pounds. Ran a 7.40 60 Yard Dash. Pitching - Balanced actions on the mound. Up-down-and out style of delivery. Landing has some cross-action with back leg working from 1st base side of the rubber. Full arm extension on takeaway. Low 3/4 release point. FB sat 70-72 MPH and topped at 73 MPH. Also mixed in a consistent 11/5 CB at 62-63 MPH and CH at 63-66 MPH.
Oswego (July, 28, 2018)
Long limbs, lean frame at 6-foot-1 150 pounds for the RHP. Pitching- Glove side setup; side step up to a mid-chest balance point; fluid pace throughout delivery; long and loose arm action with late acceleration. FB was 78-80 MPH with additional velocity gains down the road. Breaking ball has an early action, slider feel to it at 68-69 MPH. Change up was 70-71 MPH with late arm side sink/fade. Has a feel on the rubber with projectabilty.
