Tammaro, a 2018 right-handed hitting middle infielder/RHP, stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds, ran a 4.10 from home to first. Offensively- Starts with a square balance lower half with the weight evenly distributed while the hands are held in front of the height of the back shoulder with the barrel of the bat nearly straight up and down. Uses a shift of weight to the back side while the lead foot utilizes a toe-to-heel movement after the shift of weight and hands are loaded straight back getting outside the back shoulder with a bit of lead arm bar during the launch phase of the swing. Showed to the ability to drive the ball, in the lower third of the zone, well from the center of the field to the opposite field gap. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 MPH. Defensively- Uses a pre-pitch hopping movement with the hands even in front of the body. Approaches the ball with a drop step technique to create a workable hop as well as momentum to the target. Fields the ball center of the body with both hands, transferring the ball from the height of the chest, center of the body as well. Displayed a quick transfer, showing the ability to throw accurately from multiple arm angles. Throws recorded a top arm velocity of 81 MPH. Pitching- Starts from the first base side of the rubber, toes angled to the arm side, with both hands held in front of the chin. Steps to the first base side, slightly, pivot foot remaining on the first base side, hands dropping to chest height while then again elevating to the chin while the lead knee gets above the waist with a slight inward rotation during the gathered phase of the delivery. Sticks the landing with the lead toe pointed towards the catcher, some horizontal pull of the front side and back leg getting extended. The fastball, thrown from a high ¾ arm slot, showed some arm side run sitting between 75-76 MPH with a top velocity of 80 MPH. The curveball, topping out at 68 MPH, showed tight rotation as well as sharp 11-to-5 shape. The changeup, with a quality differential (-10 MPH) of 68 MPH from the fastball, showed quality fade and depth to the arm side.
