Hit: From the right side he uses a leg kick timing trigger during backload to hands. Compact stroke with above average natural tools. Worked through a middle approach in BP, working gap to gap. From the left side he goes with a similar loading sequence. Tools are comparable with a bit more thump from the right side. Power: Easy gap pop. Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling. Max BP Exit Velocity: R-87 mph/L-83 mph Max BP Distance: R-263 ft/L-222 ft Field: Good athlete out there. Moves well too and through. Average to above average ball skill. Throw: Present accuracy with developing strength Defensive Projection: LF.

Body Type: 5-foot-9 160-pound prospect with a smaller, athletic build. Swing Mechanics: Switch hitter. From the right side he starts in a balanced setup and uses a leg kick to initiate his load. Shows an on plane bat path and the barrel stayed in the zone. Ball jumps. From the left side he uses a toe tap load and has a slight cast of his barrel around the zone. Swing from the left side isn’t quite as advanced but still a good swing. Hit: Good bat to ball ability and barrel control. Power: 81 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Shows good barrel control and strong hands at the plate. Didn’t show above average raw power but with his plus speed he already has the makings of a gap to gap guy who can stretch things for extra bases. Run: 4.15 home to 1st. Throw: 78 mph throw from the outfield. Field: In the outfield Davis showed above average feet and played through the ball well and had a clean arm. Could quicken up his release. Defensive Projection: Shows all the raw physical tools you want from a CF at the next level. Improving raw arm strength and cleaning up some basic fundamentals will make him a high follow guy as a potential true CF at the next level.
