Begins in a tall strong stance with a smooth load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed was developing, showed an uphill swing plane and balanced finish. He barreled up multiple balls during the round. Pull side up the middle approach. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 83 mph. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.75. Projectable on the mound, used a long loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. (Max spin 1950; Avg 1894).
