Ben Chesser: RHP/OF, (2025) Nordonia, OH. 6-foot-1, 180-pound. (69.7 mph bat speed average). (19.5 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, has a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 74 mph; shows sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.85. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a compact arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1865; Avg 1792). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2099; Avg 2070).

Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.34. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action.
