Bryce Gilman: 1B, (2023) Wickliffe, OH. 5-foot-11, 200-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 93 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Has quick bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Capable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; shows choppy feet, a natural exchange, and firm hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 8.01.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Very efficient loading sequence. Balanced stroke with an ideal path through the zone. Barrelled up everything in BP.
Power:Easy gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.

Field:Over at first base he plays with feel for the spot and confident actions. Looks well versed at the spot. Ball skills are serviceable.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a leg kick timing trigger during back load to hands. Easy lift of the baseball, letting his raw physicality play for gap pop. Impressive round. Like the combination of strength and barrel accuracy. All field abilities.
Power: Gap to gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Middle.

Field: Above average skills at first base. Plays with feel. Ball skills play over there.

Hit: Some of the more raw power you’ll see in the state at his age. Ball really jumps of his bat/ridiculous pop for class. Might have the ability to leave the yard at this stage.

5.16 H-1st.
Field:
First baseman with an average to above average skill set across the board.
Throw:
Tossed it across the infield with 58 mph arm strength.
