Starts in a tall stance with a tight smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is present, uses a level simple swing plane and balanced finish. Pull side up the middle approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph. Recorded a time of 7.97 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used low ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action. Stretch only type pitcher and uses easy effort. He has downhill shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1749; Avg 1674).
