Started in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was efficient, had a loose level swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 78 mph; has consistent feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1863; Avg 1778). His 11/5 curveball has some action. (Max spin 2281; Avg 2249).
