Hit: Tall right-handed hitter in an upright position with a simple load to create timing. A level swing which creates varied ball flight from floor to ceiling.
Power: Flashed gap abilities.
Top BP Exit Velocity: 84 mph.
Top BP Distance: 265 ft.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup.
Field: Behind the plate, he shows quickness with his feet and transfer. Is mobile behind the dish as well.
Throw: POP between 1.94 - 2.06 and 71 mph from behind the plate.
Defensive Projection: C.
2/23/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Throws from a mid ¾ slot not going to overpower hitter, but he will hit his spots. As he becomes stronger and matures he will be able to add velocity.
Fastball: Topping at 77 mph from a high ¾ arm slot with arm side run.
Fastball Spin Rates: 1600-1800.
Curveball: Between 65-66 shows good shape and sharpness.
Curveball Spin Rates: 2000-2200.
Changeup: 73-74 maintains good arm action throughout the pitch with late fading action to it.
