Gavin Clapp: SS/2B, (2024) Field, OH. 5-foot-7, 135-pound athletic build. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth compact load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was raw, had an uphill loose swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 69 mph; had a fluid exchange, athletic footwork, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick arm action with a ¾ slot.
