Began in a quiet stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient, uses a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 76 mph; has firm hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot with a consistent arm action. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2045; Avg 1954). Throws a 11/5 curveball that has gradual action. (Max spin 1814; Avg 1705). Shows tight action on his 10/4 slider. (Max spin 1815; Avg 1812).
