Begins in a tall balanced stance with a quick small load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick, shows an upward swing plane and high finish. Found a couple of barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 70 mph; showed firm developing hands, a twitchy developing exchange, and consistent aggressive feet. Fielded the ball deep with quick movement laterally. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.18. Capable on the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a long consistent arm action. Tall-and-fall slow-tempo type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with balanced finish. Has control around the zone and slight action with tight movement. (Max spin 1756; Avg 1715). Threw a 11/5 curveball that showed slight action and around the zone command. (Max spin 1661; Avg 1623). Threw his heavy changeup with some action and around the zone control.
