2/18/18

6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect with tall, lanky frame. Starts in wide stance to the left side of the rubber. Small rocker step to the outside of his body and transitions into leg lift. Limited use of his lower half. Throws through high ¾ slot. Fastball sits 75-76 mph, up to 79 mph with occasional sink to arm side. Changeup showed similar movement to his fastball at 66-67 mph. Curveball showed gradual 12/6 break at 62-63 mph. Good two-plane action. Slider had tighter break across the zone at 65-68 mph. Future likely is on the mound but also worked out as a position guy where his raw power at the plate stood out as his top tool. Swing has some rawness but ball really jumps when he finds the barrel. Punished a few ball to pull side that looked to have enough juice to leave the yard. The corner infielder fields it from a wide base creating the need for more fluidity. Hands were average as he fielded it cleanly during each attempt. Footwork was average and did a nice job getting off the bag quickly. Longer arm action throwing it 73 mph across the diamond. Nice intent behind actions.

60-yard dash: 7.38

Infield Velocity: 73

Exit Velocity: 86

2/19/17
6-foot-5, 178 pounds with a long, wiry pitchers frame. Projectable arm on the mound with advanced size and athleticism. Displays long arm action through a high ¾, near over the top slot. Arm slot allows him to throw a 12/6 breaking ball that also offers some added depth; 61-62 mph. Arm speed on changeup is similar to fastball as it sits between 67-68 mph.
