Josh Pierson: RHP/OF, (2025) Walsh jesuit, OH. 6-foot-3, 185-pound projectable athletic build. (60.9 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a crouched athletic stance with a handsy load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, displays a simple swing plane and level finish. He found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 80 mph; showed a clean exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball to the side. Had a longer arm action and a ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the base. Smooth on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle with a clean arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands closed with a clean finish. (Max spin 2180; Avg 2089).
