Logan Trace: RHP/C, (2023) Mount Vernon, OH. 6-foot, 150-pound slim frame. Capable at the plate, Trace had a max exit velocity of 78 mph. Started in an athletic open stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Had a level swing plane and average bat speed. He barreled up some balls during the round. Line drive approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 71 mph; has consistent feet, consistent hands, and a fluid exchange. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 71 mph during throw downs; showed consistent hands, average feet, and a natural exchange. He had a pop time of 2.07-2.16. Has calm setup. Solid on the mound, showed a high ¾ angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed a tall balance point. Curveball (61-63 mph), changeup (71-72 mph).Sat with his fastball at 74-75 mph.
2/17/20 Position Player
Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Uses a toe turn timing trigger during slight back load to hands. Balanced swing with a comparable offering of strength and speed to hands. Found the barrel often in BP.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Field: In the infield he plays with a controlled tempo throughout, fielding from heels in funnel. Ball skills are on par for class. Also worked out behind the dish which appears to be his primary position. Moves well back there with feel for the spot. Pop times should only improve as physical maturation takes its course.
Throw: High-3/4 righty with average strength.
Defensive Projection: UTL.
2/17/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: 6-foot righty with a consistent tempo to his delivery. Drop and drive type who creates solid direction down the hill. Compact arm through a near over the top slot.
Fastball: True through the zone. More mphs to come with maturity. 70-72 mph.

Curveball:Developing offering. More spin than break at this stage. 59-60 mph.
