Delivery Notes: Obvious physicality standing 6-foot-4, 255-pounds, the southpaw uses a slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires some effort, chest high leg lift into a drop and drive load, compact arm action through a high-¾ slot.
Fastball: 71-74 mph, works downhill, occasional life to both sides of the plate.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1700-1900.
Curveball: 61-63 mph, pops out of the hand, slurvish look to it, tossed it with feel.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1800-2000.
Changeup: 67-69 mph, more than serviceable third offering, regular down action.
Hit: Physical presence in the box, uses a double tap timing trigger as barrel flows through a bat tip for rhythm, level path that allows for natural life, ball comes off well, heavy hands through the zone with above average bat speed.
Power: 80 mph tee exit velocity, BP was louder than exit velocity would indicate, ball comes off very well, impressive jump for a 2023.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
