Matthew Dean: OF, (2025) Highland, OH. 6-foot-1, 190-pound. (70.8 mph bat speed average). (24.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced strong stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 74 mph; shows sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a consistent arm action and a high ¾ slot.
Matthew Dean: OF, (2025) Highland, OH. 6-foot, 175-pound physical athletic build. Started in a tall open stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was above average, used a short swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 74 mph; showed consistent hands, a fluid exchange, and rhythmic feet. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a longer arm action and an-over-the-top slot.
