Swing Mechanics: Open stance with a smooth and simple load into his back leg. Keeps his hands loaded.
Hit: Level bat path with a middle of the field approach. Swings with a lot of intent.
Power: Flashed it to the pull side. Natural ball flight to the gaps.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy. Field: Smooth actions in the infield. Plays with consistent tempo and solid ball skills. Throw: Arm plays on the left side. Defensive Projection: 3B.
2/2/2019 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-11 170 pound medium frame, average build. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: The RHP showed a standard type of delivery aside of from a higher ¾ arm slot. Fastball: 75-78 mph fastball showed lots of late life. The fastball showed some sink at time along with some cut at times. Curveball: 67-69 mph curveball was a true overhand curve from his high ¾ arm slot. The pitch showed good depth and decent spin. Changeup: 70-71 mph changeup was the better of his two secondary offerings. The changeup showed good depth and fade to the arm side. Pitchability: Somewhat advanced quality of 3 pitch mix for his class. The curveball shows potential to develop into a good pitch, with the changeup being more advanced with its actions and his control of the pitch. Role: Starter type at the high school level. Will need to see how he grows into his body and add size/strength to really evaluate his future role, but the stuff shows potential to be good.

Body Type: 5-foot-11 170-pound prospect. Swing Mechanics: Starts in a narrow setup with a bit of a lunge/dive during his stride. Stays balanced with a good bat path to the ball. Starts to cast his barrel a bit but corrects himself and overall keeps his barrel in the zone for a good while. Hit: Good ability to find the barrel. Showed good body control and awareness that would lend itself well to consistently finding the barrel and making quality contact. Power: 91 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Showing above average exit velocity for his class puts to him as a potential middle of the lineup guy with average to above average power potential as he adds strength and size as he matures physically. Run: 7.94 60 yard dash. Field: In the infield Rising showed decent footwork but minimal polish to his fundamentals in the infield. Shows good raw ability but could improve his angles and how he attacks the ball. Defensive Projection: Shows decent raw abilities but needs to clean up the edges of his defensive skills.
