Nick Luchitz: RHP, (2024) Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot, 185-pound. Solid on the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands soft with balanced finish. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1842; Avg 1746). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2059; Avg 1876).
Nick Luchitz: RHP, (2024) Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot, 185-pound. Solid on the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with downhill shoulders. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1716; Avg 1605). Threw a 10/4 curveball with some action. (Max spin 1973; Avg 1829).
Nick Luchitz: RHP/OF, (2024) Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot, 176-pound. During batting practice, Luchitz recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. (58.0 mph bat speed average). (18.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Had a simple flat swing plane, efficient bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 81 mph; has developing feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph. Has running action. (Max spin 1774; Avg 1702). Had some action on his 1/7 curveball (63-64). (Max spin 1966; Avg 1871). His changeup (70-71) had slight action.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Uses a leg kick timing trigger during back load to hands. Overall athletic, efficient pre-launch sequence. Path is level to slightly downhill. Natural tools are developing while showing present ability to find the barrel. Stock will continue to rise with physical maturation.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup.
Field: Worked out in the outfield. Controlled, athletic footwork in his approach with a smooth play through.
Throw: Arm is clean through a enar over the top slot. More velo in the tank.
Defensive Projection: Multiple SPots.
Delivery Notes: Athletic looking 2024 to follow. Loose, whippy arm that travels through a near over the top slot. Creates solid energy with lower half. Expect easily more velo down the road.
Fastball:
Breaking Ball: Above average offering for class. Big, sharp bender that works on an 11/5 plane.
Changeup: Good arm speed on the offering that comes out with a fastball look out of the hand.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
