Began in a closed wide stance with a arm bar quick load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is average and has a flat swing plane. Athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 69 mph; had athletic footwork, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with twitchy movement laterally. Showed a quick arm action on his throws. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.17. On the mound, showed good arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle and a quick arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 74-77 mph; shows running action and glove side control. Has gradual action and arm side command on his 11/5 curveball (57-62). Showed arm side control and fading action on his changeup (65-67).
