Peyton Schultz: 1B/RHP, (2024) Tippecanoe, OH. 5-foot-11, 145-pound lean athletic build. (64.8 mph bat speed average). (22.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced crouched stance with a smooth compact load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was developing, had a simple uphill swing plane and a back foot finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found a few barrels. Aggressive approach. Capable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 77 mph; has consistent feet, a clean exchange, and consistent hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Capable on the mound, used a short arm action with a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent athletic balance point with even shoulders. Lands open with an athletic finish. Had cutting action and glove side control with flat movement. (Max spin 1970; Avg 1914).
