Hit:Left-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Simple approach mechanically followed by an aggressive stroke. Worked middle to pull in BP, showing line drive abilities. Good athlete.
Power:Well above average tools for class. Physical with a fast bat. Present gap abilities.

1/25/20 Position Player
Hit: Lefty bat with an athletic look to him. Uses a double tap timing trigger during slight back load to hands. Path is level and natural tools are well above average for class. Ball jumped when sequared. Has the look of a guy who can manufacture runs in a variety of ways. Very solid showing.
Power: Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Good athlete with juice. Could be used in multiple spots inside a lineup.
Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 86.2.
Top Rapsodo BP Distance: 332.
Field: Looks the part out there. Good athlete that moves well. Solid defender that plays fast.
Throw: Arm looks stronger than we've seen in past and I'd expect that trend to continue.
Defensive Projection: CF/LF. 

Body Type: 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Smooth and simple load into his lower half.  Keeps his hands loose and loaded through contact.

Hit: Level bat path that gets inside the baseball well.  Swings with intent, and produces good bat speed for his class.

Power: Ball jumps. Much more pop than frame suggests. Flashed pull side authority. 84.5 off the bat in BP.

Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup frame with sneaky juice. Good athlete with burst.

Run: Well above average runner. 4.21 H-1st.

Field: Very quick feet in the outfield with obvious athleticism. Gets too and through the baseball well. Looks the part out there.

Throw: Loose arm through a 3/4 slot that projects for more strength.

Defensive Projection: CF/LF.

2/17/19 Pitching

Body Type: 5-foot-8 140-pound left-handed pitching prospect with room to add strength.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Compact and efficient delivery. Works at a slower tempo, good direction moving down the mound finishing slightly open at foot contact.

Fastball:  68-70 mph fastball works out of a ¾ slot with minimal effort. Slight sinking action through the zone.

Curveball: 59-63 mph curveball has 1/7 shape, pitch shows early with gradual break. Flashed some sharpness at times.

Changeup: N/A

Pitchability: Only offered two pitches. Was a bit erratic with the fastball, does show good feel for the breaking.

Role: TBD

2/17/19

Body Type: 5-foot-8 140-pound prospect.

Swing Mechanics: Starts in a balanced set up and uses a toe tap load and casts his barrel around the zone. Somewhat long bat path overall.

Hit: Average bat to ball ability.

Power: 80 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Presently would profile as a line drive to all fields kind of guy.

Field: In the outfield he plays through the ball well and shows a slow release with a somewhat quick arm.

Throw: 73 mph from the outfield.  

Run: 4.36 home to first.

Defensive Projection: Shows potential speed to be a CF type if his polish defensively is good enough for him to stick there at the next level. 

10/14/18
A left-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Uses a toe turn for timing as hands show a slight back load prior to launch. Compact stroke on a level path. Well above average bat speed for class. Can pull off the ball at times but creates solid jump when he stays through contact. Lien drive guy that doesn’t get cheated up there. Should easily grow into gap pop as he matures physically. In the outfield he plays with fast, aggressive feet two. Relatively clean through, playing nicely with one hand. Arm/athleticism profiles best at left/centerfield presently.
