6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect. Strong kid. At the plate he uses a simple hands back load during his stride forward. Gets the bat in and out of the zone quickly with a short, compact swing. Registered a top exit velocity of mph 70 mph and ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. In the outfield Reece will need to improve his footwork as he tends to play from his heels. Once he learns to play through the ball he should see an immediate increase in his 69 mph arm strength. Showed good pull power while hunching over prior to the swing. Used a top hand release. Moves hands while in motion and leans over prior to throwing with a loose high ¾ arm motion. Fastball sat 69-72 mph with sink, 10/4 gradual breaking curve 56-58 mph, 62 mph fading change up.
