Robbie Sheppard: LHP/OF, (2025) Olentangy Berlin, OH. 5-foot-8, 145-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, had a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 73 mph; has quick feet, consistent hands, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.02. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Feel type pitcher who shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 70-72 mph. Had running action. (Max spin 1847; Avg 1786). His 1/7 curveball (53-54) showed slurvey action. (Max spin 1511; Avg 1493). He had slight action on his changeup (64-65).
