Rocco Leonetti: 2B/SS, (2022) Olentangy Orange, OH.
5-foot-7, 150-pound slim frame. Raw during batting practice, Leonetti had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Begins in an athletic open stance with a smooth quick load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed was average, and used an upward swing plane. Line drive approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 77 mph; shows soft sure hands, and fluid feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Clocked a time of 7.27 in the 60-yard dash.
2/17/20 Position Player Hit: Starts out in an open setup from the right side. Fluid motions in the box. Utilizes a leg tap loading sequence to create an on time swing. Relatively uphill bat path creates natural loft to ball flight. Power: Line drive type. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup. Field: Above average footwork and solid hands. Works through the ball left of center very well. Throw: Short arm action through a ¾ arm slot. Registered 75 mph across the diamond. Defensive Projection: 2B/SS.
1/20/20 Position Player
Hit: Early movements that are controlled well throughout loading sequence. Uphill stroke with a balanced offering of strength and speed to hands. Definitely has some whip in there as well. Was at his best when working in a middle-back approach.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup.

Field: Displayed quick feet and soft hands in the infield. Well coached/mechanically sound and plays the middle infield with confidence.
Throw: Accurate thrower who can use multiple angles.

Swing Mechanics: Smooth, easy loading sequence that leads to a balanced launch.
Hit: Nice, level stroke that stays compact through the zone. All fields hitter with feel for contact.
Power: Line drive guy with gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Field: Hands really work, showcasing above average ball skills for class. Very fluid defender. Looked the part out there.
Throw: Clean arm with more strength to come.
Defensive Projection: MIF.
