One of the more athletic sequences on the Team Ohio roster. Moves with ease through his quality patterns landing in a strong launch position. All field type direction with line drive flight and low to mid 80 barrels. Mid to upper 60mph type bat speed.
Ronnie Allen: 3B/RHP, (2027) Archbishop Moeller, OH. 5-foot-8, 155-pound. (63.3 mph bat speed average). (19.8 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled short stride. Has developing bat speed, level swing plane and balanced finish. Up the middle approach. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 78 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.01. Athletic projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed with an over-the-top arm angle and a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has a tall strong balance point and downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 2150; Avg 1914).
