8/12/18
A righty swinger that starts in a tall, open stance. Uses a double tap for timing as hands stay quiet through load and into launch. Compact stroke on a level plane. Swing will show loft at times. Can do damage when he gets the barrel extended. More strength than speed to swing presently. Line drive guy with flashes of gap pop. Plays fast to the baseball with obvious confidence. One-handed play through the allows him to maintain momentum through process. Could eliminate an extra step between fielding and release. Accurate arm to home plate. Two-way prospect. On the mound the right-hander works with a slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Offers a three pitch mix through a high-¾ slot. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone sitting 78-79 mph. Also spins a big breaking, 11/5 shaped curveball at 64-67 mph. Maintains arm speed on the changeup that showed some dive at 68-69 mph.
Outfield Velocity: 78
Exit Velocity: 82

7/11/18
The 6-foot-1, 160-pound righty uses a high leg kick to really do a good job driving down the mound. His arm acts like a whip that comes through a ¾ arm slot registering a 75-76 mph Fastball with late arm side run. His Curveball shows a 12/6 tilt to it at 60-63 mph. His third offering is a Changeup that had a tendency to be up in the zone at 62-64 mph. As an outfielder moves well forward when attacking baseball. Does a nice job controlling actions with good footwork. Transitions into a big crow hop creating energy into throws. A righty swinger that starts in a tall setup. Fluid, simple load followed by an uphill path. Offers a balanced combination of strength and speed through the zone. A line drive guy with sneaky pop to pull side. Swing has some room to clean up movement wise but ball jumps.
60-yard dash: 6.98
Outfield Velocity: 77
Exit Velocity: 79
