Begins in a tall stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Had a loose uphill swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. He barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. While catching, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 75 mph; had a quick transfer, smooth athletic footwork, and consistent hands. consistently had pop times of 2.04-2.19. Staggered setup with tons of flexibility. Used athletic slot with a short quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Clocked a time of 7.66 in the 60-yard dash.
