Daniel Herrmann: RHP/OF, (2027) Canfield High School, OH. 6-foot-2, 165-pound athletic projectable build. (60.7 mph bat speed average). (18.0 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, showed a level loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Confident from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 79 mph; had fluid footwork, a natural exchange, and developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were raw. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Smooth on the mound, used a longer loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good developing arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Displays in line shoulders with an strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 2061; Avg 1942).
